 Mutualism

A symbiotic relation that both organisms benefit from relationship.  In the tropical rainforest ants and fungi is an example of mutualism.

Parasitism

A symbiotic relation that one organism benefits while the other is harmed.  An example of parasitism in the tropical rainforest is a mosquito and the human body.

 

Commensalism

A symbiotic relation that one organism benefits from the relation and the other isn't affected, neither benefited or harmed.  To keep themselves safe from weeds and other harmful things many plants in the tropical rainforest attach themselves high up in trees.
